Certified Nursing Assistant

A Certified Nursing Assistant supports patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff in a healthcare setting. Common responsibilities include assisting residents or patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, repositioning, and eating, while also helping with vital signs, mobility, and basic comfort measures. CNAs are often expected to observe and report changes in condition, maintain clean and safe care areas, and document routine care accurately according to facility procedures. Applicants generally need an active CNA certification, relevant state requirements, and the ability to communicate clearly and work respectfully with patients, families, and team members. Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care can be valuable. The work is physically demanding and may involve standing, lifting, assisting with transfers, and responding quickly to patient needs. This is a full-time role with a schedule that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays based on staffing requirements.
