Mammo Technologist Department: Radiology. Location: Geneva (Destination Campus), floating to Clifton Springs if needed. Hours per Week: 40. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, Variable Hours, Rotating Day Shifts, Rotating Weekends. Summary: As a Mammo Tech, you demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills and obtain quality positioning and imaging studies while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. Warm and comforting patient care skills are mandatory. You perform screening and diagnostic mammogram examinations and assist the radiologist in performing mammographic procedures. The role is to obtain images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to the patient undergoing these exams. Responsibilities Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures using RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary. Perform screening, diagnostic, and/or assistance in performing mammographic procedures. Monitor image quality continuously to ensure alignment with ACR quality standards. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality. Perform daily and periodic mammography QA activities under the direct supervision of the Mammo QA technologist. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Two‑year college degree in Radiologic Technology or Applied Science, or equivalent NYS license in Radiologic Technology (must obtain licensure within six months of employment). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT‑R) required within six months of employment. Preferred Qualifications Prior radiologic technologist experience. ARRT‑M Advanced Mammography Certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work with various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements Medium work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations. Pay Pay Range: $29.50 – $42.50 per hour. The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant and may be modified in the future.
