This is an **entry-level** position and is based out of **Houston, TX.**## **Your role*** Assist in the planning, design, and production of bridge and civil engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.* Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and preparation of design documents, cost estimates, and specifications.* Participate in field observations and construction support activities, including shop drawing reviews, progress documentation, and quality control tasks.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate design alternatives, develop innovative solutions, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.## **About you*** EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.* EXPERIENCE: 0–2 years of professional experience in structural or civil engineering (internship or co-op experience preferred).* SPECIAL SKILLS: + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred). + Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to perform engineering calculations and support preparation of technical reports.* PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.## **Rewards & benefits**At AtkinsRéalis, our values—Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence—are more than just words.
