Boeing Commercial Airplanes' (BCA) Human Resources (HR) organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team in North Charleston, South Carolina . Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level Specialists to find the best fit for the position.

The position will play a key role in supporting the transformation in our production systems and the HR function's objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide HR products and services in support of the Boeing Production System (BPS)

• Partner with BPS leader, Boeing South Carolina (BSC) and Everett Join Verification leaders, and Storage leader for the 787 Program

• Partner with the BSC Site on HR implications and change management regarding culture and quality

• Collaborate with BPS director, BPS Human Resources Generalist (HRG) network, and other stakeholders to:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain BPS Standards (and standard work) across the program(s) and function(s)

  • Develop and deploy BPS people strategies/tactics for employee development/training, building effective teams, strengthening employee and leadership capability, and increasing employee engagement and/or retention

• Partner with BPS Director, Joint Verification Director and 787 Storage Director to:

  • Integrate and support talent and workforce strategies/tactics (includes org design/org optimization, resource planning, forecasting, skills utilization, and skills teams)

  • Ensure staffing and training plans are in place and effective; partner with the Site Factory Field Skills Team

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain KPI that measure the health of the production system through tools supported by People Analytics and/or other HR systems

  • Work across BCA as part of the HR BPS leader network

  • Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR products and services

  • Work closely with HR COE's to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation; ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Effort and input on process improvements to support BPS leaders focused on adopting, accelerating and leading change

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with employees, stakeholders, and peers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

• 1+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service

• 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

• 3+ years of experience in influencing and building relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Human Resources certification

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

• 3+ years of experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

• Experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with high-impact communication style

• Experience delivering standard work processes as well as tactical/operational expertise in delivering HR solutions to support business problems

• Experience working with diverse business teams, focused on inclusion, diversity, and cultural sensitivity

• Experience leveraging data, metrics and managing performance delivery

Typical Education & Experience: Experienced (Level 3) Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4) Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $81,600 - $110,400 Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $103,700 - $140,300
