Obstetrics & Gynecology Locum Tenens Opportunity

Physician needed for a locum tenens opportunity in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Edenton, NC. The position involves inpatient care with a supplemental reason for coverage. The coverage period is from Jan 8-16, 2025, with a call-only schedule. The call schedule includes 24-hour call shifts, 8a-8a, and two weekends per month. The call response time is 20 minutes, and the delivery volume is 28-34 per month. The physician must be comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries. The hospital has 25 beds and a 7-bed ER, using Epic as the EMR system. The emergency department is low volume, and there are no ICU responsibilities or code responses. Hospital privileges are required, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements include an active NC license, board certification, ALSO certification, NRP, and proof of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course in the last two years for more than six months of coverage.
