UDR, Inc. is now hiring a Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer supports and maintains the company's network infrastructure, acting as the first escalation point for Network Administrators. This role handles daily operations, moderate troubleshooting, and participates in project work. Engineers are expected to contribute to network reliability while gaining broader experience with enterprise technologies and demonstrating growing judgment in their work.

Essential functions include acting as the first escalation point for Network Administrators, configuring and supporting network devices, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues, contributing to project implementations, creating and updating documentation of network configurations and processes, participating in rotating on-call support, and performing other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Typical working conditions include a hybrid/remote environment with occasional on-site requirements, rotating on-call duties including evenings and weekends, and some travel to company sites for projects and support.

Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum of two to five years of professional networking experience required. Certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.

Technology summary includes vendors/platforms such as Cisco, Ruckus, Palo Alto NGFW, F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers, Arista, LogicMonitor, NetBox, Ansible, ServiceNow. Protocols/concepts include VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec VPNs, tunneling/encryption, authentication (802.1X), PKI, DNS/DHCP, syslog/NetFlow. Cloud/Security includes Zscaler, Microsoft Azure networking.

Salary range: $98,750/yr. – $116,000/yr., depends on experience. Bonus potential: Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance.
