Assistant Operations Manager

Assistant Operations Manager
Fitness solution company looking for an organized, hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to help manage customer orders and coordinate projects from order through installation. This position reports to our Operations Manager and works closely with our sales team, warehouse manager, vendors, customers, and installation crews.
What You'll Do
- Process and track customer orders; generate POs
- Coordinate deliveries and installations; track shipping
- Work with the warehouse manager on receiving, staging, and project readiness
- Partner with manufacturing companies and vendors
- Communicate schedules and project details with customers, sales reps, vendors, and installers
- Track open orders and help resolve delays or issues
- Help improve our systems, processes, and day-to-day organization
- Manage inventory and support process improvement initiatives
Qualifications Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Experience in operations, order processing, logistics, scheduling, or project coordination is preferred. Fitness industry experience is not required. Experience with SAGE ERP preferred Location: Mundelein, IL - Full-time On-site location Compensation: Based on Experience
