Vehicle Test Driver
Locations: Austin, Texas
We are hiring responsible and professional drivers to operate passenger sedans, SUVs, or similar vehicles as part of an exciting project.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record.
- At least 3 years of driving experience in United States.
- Must be 25 years or above (required by project contract).
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
- Ability to safely complete driving shifts of up to 8 hours.
- Proficient in using GPS/navigation apps and able to follow detailed driving routes.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Good English communication skills.
- Prior experience with mileage accumulation, Vehicle testing, or autonomous vehicle data collection projects is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Keep vehicle fueled/charged, clean, and in good operating condition.
- Schedule repairs when needed in consultation with Project Manager.
- Log mileage and maintenance accurately.
- Report any vehicle or system issues to the Project Manager.
- Stay professional in high-stress traffic and diverse team environments.
Shift Timings:
- First shift: 5.00am - 1.30pm or 6.00am - 2.30pm
- Second shift: 1.30pm - 10.00pm or 2.30pm - 11.00pm
- Shift timings might change based on vehicle availability or project requirements.
Weekly commitment:
• 8-hour shift/day, 5 days/week
Training: Onsite training will be provided during onboarding in line with project requirements.
