The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting complex, high-liability commercial real estate transactions, as well as evaluating transactional risk and determining insurability. This role requires the ability to identify legal and title risks and develop practical, insurable solutions to facilitate transactions. The Senior Commercial Counsel will also serve as a primary point of contact for various stakeholders and provide practical guidance on title, survey, and closing issues in sophisticated transactions. Applicants for the Senior Commercial Counsel position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Florida, with a preference for those with this qualification. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in commercial real estate and/or title insurance matters, particularly within a national or multi-state platform, is required. The role demands a strong familiarity with title insurance principles, endorsements, and closing practices, as well as experience in working with title agents, national accounts, and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
