Production SchedulerLocation: Goldsboro, US, 27530 Date: Jul 7, 2026 Posting Date: Job Area: Operations Job Level: ExperiencedMain Tasks:Forecasts, plans, and schedules production workflow based on customer ordersCollaborates with Production Supervisors to define priorities in production scheduleReleases product to appropriate departmentUtilizes company ERP system to create and analyze reports to determine best scheduling methodsClosely monitors job progress from job creation to completionEnters inventory information and confirms physical inventory when neededAnalyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems recommending solutionsTakes a proactive approach to scheduling methodologies to identify potential conflicts throughout the different phases of production in an effort to minimize errors and maximize customer experienceProvides data as required to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future ordersEnsures safety and quality goals are metAdditional duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma/ GED; Associate Degree in Business Discipline and/or a combination of certification a plus2 years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing operation setting preferredMust be a forward thinker, self-starter, motivated, and dependableHighly organized and detail orientedStrong computer skills to include MS Office products; Excel reporting using pivot tables and V-Look up requiredPrior experience working within an ERP system; SAGE preferredMust be able to read and write reportsMust be able to read, interpret, understand and follow instructions, product labels, safety rules, operation and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and schedulesMust possess acute observation skills to ensure the safety of those around themEffective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to take instructionsAble to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to push, pull and lift 50lbsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machineryThe noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loudAbility to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees FahrenheitPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearThe employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/lift with hands and arms up to 50 pounds
