About the Position

Locum Tenens Hospitalist – Ephrata, Pennsylvania

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a daytime Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

This is a no-call, 12-hour day-shift assignment at a 140-bed acute care hospital. The physician will provide admissions and inpatient rounding within a closed ICU model , with no procedures required .

The facility is seeking approximately 7–14 shifts per month , with opportunities for both blocks and individual PRN shifts.

Compensation

$2,400 per 12-hour shift

• Provider Pay: $200/hour
• $2,400 per 12-hour shift
• Premium Hospitalist locums compensation
• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Day shifts only
• No call
• No procedures
• Closed ICU
• Approximately 7–14 shifts/month
• Blocks and individual shifts available
• Approximately 15 patients/day
• Approximately 7–10 admissions per shift
• Approximately 4–6 rounding patients per shift
• Primarily older adult population
• Epic EMR
• 140-bed acute care hospital
• Internal Medicine preferred
• Family Medicine considered
• BC or BE
• PA license or IMLC LOQ required to submit
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS required
