Job Summary Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Martinez, California. Key Details Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Total Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description As a labor and delivery nurse (RN L&D), you will care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother’s and baby’s vitals, administering medication, and managing potential complications that may arise. You may also be called upon to assist in Caesarian sections and provide education and guidance to new mothers regarding recovery and infant care.
