We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations & Budget Analyst to join the JETSII Contract!

The Operations & Budget Analyst provides integrated operational and financial support to ensure efficient Task Order performance and strong fiscal stewardship. This role blends budget tracking, forecasting, documentation management, financial analysis, metrics development, and reporting. The analyst maintains critical financial and operational records, supports compliance with JETS II, customer, and government requirements, and delivers clear, actionable data insights to leadership.

The Operations & Budget Analyst will:

• Perform financial analyses including budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, and financial modeling; identify and recommend corrections for discrepancies.
• Track and manage Task Order budgets across group, facilities, and WBS levels; coordinate forecast updates using systems such as JEMS.
• Collect, interpret, and upload financial data into accounting and budgeting systems; ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Maintain and administer operational documentation including WADs, RFIs, RFPs, and other group records.
• Prepare Task Order financial statements and high level reports; support management with financial and operational insights.
• Support engineering teams and projects during reviews and presentations.
• Track team KPIs and metrics; provide leaders with data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as administrator for SharePoint and Smartsheet to support workflow, reporting, and documentation management.
• Assist in developing financial controls, procedures, and forecasting techniques that meet JETS II, customer, and government compliance requirements.
• Provide financial guidance to internal teams, supporting budget development and analysis.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requisition Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field or in a related area.
• Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet NASA site access documentation requirements.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and financial/accounting software.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Requisition Preferences:

• Minimum of four years progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, operational management, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, NASA NF 533, Power BI, JETS contract functions (JEMS), and represented workforce operations.
• Prior experience working on NASA sites or government installations.
• Ability to operate office equipment and perform tasks required by the role.

Compensation:

• Salary starts at $64,900. Final pay will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
