Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Variable shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
The Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a range of imaging procedures and ensure quality patient care. The role involves working collaboratively in a healthcare setting, adhering to protocols and safety regulations, while providing excellent service to patients and the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and data collection.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current certification and state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Knowledge of imaging procedures and safety standards.
- Current certifications, including American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Completion of required health history documentation, including vaccinations.
