Senior Attorney – Employment Litigation

Job Overview

A growing national plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Attorney in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employment law, wage-and-hour litigation, class actions, and complex civil litigation .

The attorney will manage cases, represent clients in state and federal courts, and mentor junior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side employment, wage-and-hour, and class action cases.
• Handle litigation from start to finish.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents.
• Conduct discovery and take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Mentor and supervise associate attorneys.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Minnesota Bar license or pending admission.
• Strong experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Wage-and-hour, class action, or employment litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
