Why join us? 401(k) with Company Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Generous PTO plus a flexible summer schedule Hybrid and Remote Flexibility Collaborative Culture: A supportive, people first team where you'll work directly with Partners and clients, not buried under layers of bureaucracy Career Growth: Clear path for advancement, ongoing CPA support, and referral bonuses for building out the team Work Variety: Exposure to closely held businesses and high net worth individuals across seven different industries Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, C corps, and trusts/estates Research complex tax issues and bring practical solutions back to clients Assist with tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing client liabilities Review staff accountant work and provide coaching and technical guidance Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive, ongoing communication Spot tax saving opportunities and other advisory services clients might not know to ask for Handle IRS and state tax notices, audits, and examinations Take part in year end tax planning meetings with clients Manage several engagements at once while hitting deadlines Stay sharp on the latest federal and state tax law changes Partner with Managers and Partners on complex engagements and special projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA license or actively pursuing one, preferred Minimum of 3 to 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience Strong experience preparing and reviewing both individual and business tax returns Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations Experience conducting tax research and planning Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
