Manufacturing TechnicianCummings Electrical is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. If you are looking for growth, meaningful work, and a chance to be part of a team shaping the future of off-site integration and manufacturing, this is the place to make an impact!ResponsibilitiesPerform duties in production according to standard operating proceduresAssist with daily manufacturing operations in manufacturing facilityConfirm correct materials and appropriate quantities are used, report any discrepanciesMaintain records in a facility environmentVerifies and gathers parts, tools and measuring devices needed for assemblyBe efficient with your time and materials while ensuring top quality electrical installation to meet the National Electrical CodeAssemble and test electrical components according to specificationsAssist others where needed and follow a neat and process-oriented work styleReport any violations to the Manufacturing ManagerPerform daily and site clean-upProper use of basic hand tools and power toolsQualificationsAbility to perform duties in extreme varying temperatures, e.g., exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, on your feet, 8 to 10 hours daily, up to 6 days a weekJob requires employee to wear required personal tools and belt with them at all timesWork from all types of ladders, stepladders up to 14', "A" frame ladders and all size extension laddersCarry and relocate extension ladders up to 20' stepladders up to 12' by yourselfEmployee's personal weight with personal tools cannot exceed weight limit of ladder (Class 1 - 250 lbs., Class 1A - 300 lbs.)Perform work at various heights, up to 50' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks or other safe work areasWork in restricted areas, switchgear room, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics and vaults, following proper proceduresFollow special procedures including contamination control, noise control, vibration, building systems awareness and proceduresHigh school diploma or equivalent0-2 years' experience in an electrical or manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic computer skillsGood organizational and housekeeping skillsGood interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and good work ethicAble to provide his/her own toolsAble to lift 50lbsHow we support you:Our environment allows you to take pride in your work, create meaningful connections, and acquire growth-based development skills.
