The assignment length is 13 weeks with a start date as soon as possible. Shifts are available as 5x8 days or 4x10 days. Weekends will be required, with 2 weekend shifts expected each month. First-time travelers are accepted. No on-call duty is required. The credentials required include BLS certification and a valid Alaska PT license or a compact PT license. Candidates should possess skills in acute care, assessment, assistive devices, and rehabilitation techniques. Physical therapists should be prepared to work with adults and geriatric populations. The facility consists of 56 staffed beds, including an inpatient rehabilitation unit and long-term acute care. Focus areas include post-surgical rehabilitation, gait training, and mobility assistance. Therapists must be adaptable in providing care tailored to individual patient needs. All candidates must adhere to ongoing compliance processes before starting the role.
