Private Investments Counsel - Strategic Investment Firm A multi‑billion‑dollar investment firm specializing in technology and consumer sectors across public and private markets is seeking a Private Investments Counsel to join its expanding legal team. In this role, you will partner closely with the GC/CCO to drive private investment transactions, oversee all phases of private fund lifecycles, navigate evolving regulatory landscapes, and manage a range of general corporate matters. Base pay range $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Partner with the GC/CCO to execute private investment transactions and oversee all stages of private fund lifecycles. Provide strategic legal and regulatory guidance to investment and operations teams across a wide range of matters. Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements, including NDAs, service contracts, and side letters. Monitor evolving regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on the firm’s operations and compliance strategy. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, outside counsel and compliance advisors. Qualifications J.D. and 5+ years of experience in PE transactions either at a law firm or in‑house within financial services. Strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts to internal stakeholders and collaborate cross‑functionally within the organization.
