Senior Accounting Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Accountant who combines exceptional technical financial acumen with a proactive, leadership-oriented mindset. In this pivotal role within our Finance team, you will drive financial clarity and operational efficiency. You will be directly responsible for deep-dive financial reporting, strategic cash flow forecasting, and robust cost accounting.

Additionally, experience with the implementation of ERP systems would be a significant advantage and 5 years experience in manufacturing is required. A CPA is preferred but not required. This position is 100% onsite in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and is direct hire with a full benefits package.

salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze and report monthly and quarterly financial results; provide variance analysis and insights to support management's decision making
• Manage balance sheet and ensure timely reconciliations
• Develop cash flow forecasts - assess current processes and implement improvements to AR/AP
• Manage month end close; review and approve journal entries, recons and account analysis
• Cost accounting - standing costing, inventory valuation and reconciliation, cost of goods sold accuracy
• Lead internal audits - track production costs and alignment with financial reporting; oversee inventory counts, perform cost driver analysis and margin analysis for products
• Assist with implementation of new ERP - work to improve data accuracy, cost tracking and reporting efficiency
