As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) joining our team, you play a vital role in making communities healthier. Responsibilities As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Document patient care provided. Assist RN with development of plan of care. Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. What Are We Looking For Education / License Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current LPN license in state of practice. Certifications BCLS required. Handle with Care preferred.
