Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are a leading healthcare provider in Bartlett, TN and seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction, while fostering a positive work environment for our dedicated nurses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, setting goals and objectives that align with the organization's mission and vision

• Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and educational programs to promote quality care and nursing excellence

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and professional development

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Manage and develop the nursing staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations

• Participate in budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring the effective use of resources to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of two years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Current RN license and certification in the state of TN

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
