Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
- Inspect incoming and outgoing food products for defects, damages, and correct counts
- Assist in upholding Food Safety and HACCP programs
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receive, process, pick, unload, label, and stage warehouse stock products
- Operate and perform preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations
- Accurately scan incoming shipments using Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Pick, palletize, and wrap orders for shipment
- Verify packing lists, bills of lading, lot numbers, product descriptions, and flags
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, performing cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a pallet jack (required)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience (required)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in a cold environment (30-50°F) intermittently
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Bilingual Spanish language proficiency (preferred)
- Experience with seafood and produce handling (preferred)
- Ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA 90021 (required)
