Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to a nearby affiliated facility as needed to support staffing requirements
• Adhere to unit protocols, holiday scheduling expectations, and facility onboarding testing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Must be available for holiday shifts — no holiday time-off requests will be accommodated
• Must be willing and able to float to an affiliated facility as needed
• Candidates must successfully pass a competency assessment administered on the first day of orientation (one attempt only); Relias testing completed during onboarding (up to two attempts) is provided to help prepare

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry-monitored unit within an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with multi-facility health system workflows and float pool expectations
