Schedule Available: Varying hours, five days per week, including weekends and holidays (full-time/40 hours per week) Position will be located in Buena Park or Harbor City Momentum is hiring a House Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day operational functions of our group home and work closely under the direction of the Administrator and nursing staff to assure quality care. Benefits (Full-time): Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Life Assistance Program Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid Holidays Paid Vacation/Sick/Bereavement leave Credit Union Benefits and Discounts $750.00 Referral Bonus Program Retirement Plan (403B) Direct Deposit Hands-On Training Reliable Schedule House Coordinator Essential Responsibilities: Assists Administrator with instructing staff on how to carry out active treatments and training objectives identified in each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) Coordinates Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in cleaning and laundry duties Trains new staff regarding persons supported needs, individual training objectives, and housekeeping duties Provides new supported persons with an orientation to the facility with introduction to staff and peers In conjunction with the Dietitian and Administrator, assigns and monitors meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; ensures menus are posted and followed; and prepares meals, as needed Drives persons supported to appointments using company vehicle and assists supported persons on outings Provides direct support, as needed Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs House Coordinator Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent; required Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; required At least 18 months of Direct Support experience, working with individuals with disabilities under the supervision of a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Positive attitude with flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the residential home Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States Able to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr momentum-formerly-ucpla
