CNC Mill Operator - 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $38.00 + $1,000 Hiring Bonus Schedule/Shift: 1st, 7:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday Employment Type: Direct Hire Summary: As a CNC Mill Operator, you will prepare, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate highly precision-machined parts. This role requires working with close-tolerance equipment, verifying product quality, and maintaining accurate production documentation. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC milling centers according to work orders, routers, and blueprints. Study drawings, blueprints, samples, and manuals to install computerized instructions and prepare equipment for production. Perform quality inspections and operational checks to ensure compliance with specifications. Verify finished parts using precision measuring equipment and perform deburring as required. Complete required forms, reports, logs, records, and production sign-offs accurately. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints. Basic understanding of CNC controls, cutting tools, and mechanical systems. Previous CNC milling experience preferred, especially with multi-axis milling; higher wages available for candidates with G‑code experience. Self-starter with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
