Role overview
We are seeking a Portfolio / Investment Manager to lead investment management in collaboration with our planning and client service teams. You will design, implement, and oversee portfolios that integrate directly with each client’s financial plan, cash‑flow needs, tax situation, and risk profile.
Key Responsibilities :
· Design, implement, and monitor customized investment portfolios for individuals and families.
· Integrate sub‑managers, ETFs, and private/alternative strategies within portfolios where appropriate.
· Oversee trades, rebalancing, and cash management in coordination with our Client Service Specialist.
· Conduct ongoing research and due diligence on managers and strategies across traditional and alternative asset classes.
· Collaborate closely with our Financial Planner to ensure portfolios align with planning assumptions and client goals.
· Prepare and present market commentary and portfolio reviews; keep clients informed through meetings and written updates.
· Participate in our investment process by contributing ideas on asset allocation, risk management, and the evolving role of alternatives.
This is an in‑office role based in Roswell, GA.
What we are looking for:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (preferred).
· Experience as an Investment/Portfolio Manager or similar role (open to RIAs, institutional asset management, pension plans, or other
portfolio research/modeling backgrounds).
· 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with investment research, manager due diligence, and asset allocation modeling (traditional and/or
alternative mandates).
· Solid understanding of markets, portfolio construction, and risk management; comfort serving retirees, pre-retirees, and growth-
oriented clients.
· Series 65 license OR CFA designation required (both is a plus; pursuing CFA with existing Series 65 also preferred).
· Comfortable in a collaborative, low-ego environment where you own your specialty but also step outside your lane when clients need it.
