Position : Fund Finance Associate Attorney (3-6+ Years)
Location : Charlotte, NC
Direct Counsel is representing a top-tier law firm seeking an experienced Fund Finance Associate to join their growing Fund Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-6+ years of relevant experience and will work with a wide range of clients, including leading banks, asset managers, and lending institutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in complex and high-profile transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leverage finance, fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, NAV financings, and acquisition financings.
Responsibilities
Provide legal support on a variety of fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, NAV financings, and fund formation.
Work on complex financing arrangements and interact with clients in the banking and asset management sectors.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to structure and negotiate financing deals for institutional clients.
Draft and review key financing documents, including loan agreements and security arrangements.
Develop strong relationships with clients and play an integral role in managing transactions.
Job Requirements
3-6+ years of relevant experience in fund finance, syndicated lending, leverage finance, CLOs, or similar areas.
Solid experience in commercial lending and asset-based lending.
Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record at a top law firm.
Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
A client-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships.
Salary and Compensation
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $260,000 and $420,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The firm offers a competitive salary package with a focus on professional development and career advancement.
