Position : Fund Finance Associate Attorney (3-6+ Years)
Location : Charlotte, NC

Direct Counsel is representing a top-tier law firm seeking an experienced Fund Finance Associate to join their growing Fund Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-6+ years of relevant experience and will work with a wide range of clients, including leading banks, asset managers, and lending institutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in complex and high-profile transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leverage finance, fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, NAV financings, and acquisition financings.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on a variety of fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, NAV financings, and fund formation.

• Work on complex financing arrangements and interact with clients in the banking and asset management sectors.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to structure and negotiate financing deals for institutional clients.

• Draft and review key financing documents, including loan agreements and security arrangements.

• Develop strong relationships with clients and play an integral role in managing transactions.

Job Requirements

• 3-6+ years of relevant experience in fund finance, syndicated lending, leverage finance, CLOs, or similar areas.

• Solid experience in commercial lending and asset-based lending.

• Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record at a top law firm.

• Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.

• The ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

• A client-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships.

Salary and Compensation
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $260,000 and $420,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The firm offers a competitive salary package with a focus on professional development and career advancement.
