Store Associate - Wheaton Mall, Wheaton, MD

Position Summary As an Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with daily operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the ability to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high service standards. Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets. Operational Excellence: Participate in daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, shipment workflow, order fulfillment and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales and operational goals. Adhere to store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Additional duties and projects as required. Qualifications Proven experience in retail or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets is preferred. Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems. Minimum Requirements Set weekly availability, including a mix of mornings, days, and nights, based on business needs. Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required. Consistent punctuality and regular attendance in line with company policies. Clear spoken English to communicate with customers. Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math in English. Must be at least 18 years old (participants 16–17 in listed states). Physical Demands Requires prolonged standing (approximately 4–14 hours per day). Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer’s feet as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks. May be required to climb ladder or ascend/descend stairs to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale. Must lift items weighing 5–25 lbs regularly. Requires good vision, including color differentiation. Work environment is moderately noisy. Compensation Store Associate pay range: $18.00 – $18.00 per hour. Eligible for company 401(k) plan.
