Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear explanations with empathy
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to generate precise diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, taking prompt action when issues arise
• Accurately document procedures and maintain electronic medical records
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Cohesion with a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
