Position Overview

We are in search of an empathetic and skilled Sonography/Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering top-tier imaging care. You will harness advanced ultrasound technology to conduct vital diagnostic examinations, join hands with a supportive cadre of health professionals, and provide patients with reassurance through precise imaging methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, communicating each phase with transparency and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain all imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Thoroughly document each procedure and ensure patient records are meticulously maintained in the electronic medical systems
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
