Marana Main St., Marana, Arizona, United States of America Job Description Posted Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM Marana Health is seeking an Employment Services Coordinator to join our Behavioral Health team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ. The Employment Services Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination and delivery of services across Marana Health’s Employment Services department and Work Adjustment Training (WAT) programs. Working closely with the WAT Director, this position helps ensure consistent program operations, communication, documentation, and support across Employment Services programs and initiatives. The Employment Services Coordinator serves as a resource to staff and program participants, coordinates operational and program needs, and supports documentation, tracking, billing integrity, and contractual reporting requirements. This position also provides direct employment-related services and billable encounters to patients enrolled in Employment Services. The Employment Services Coordinator works collaboratively with program leadership and staff to support efficient, compliant, and patient-centered employment services. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in employment services, behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, social services, healthcare, workforce development, or a related field. Experience providing services or support to individuals in a behavioral health, employment, vocational, healthcare, or community-based setting. Experience with documentation, recordkeeping, data tracking, or program coordination. Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety Current Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH) Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Behavioral Health, Social Services, Rehabilitation, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience in Work Adjustment Training (WAT), supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, or employment services. Experience with AHCCCS documentation and billing requirements. Experience working with DES/VR, RBHA, or other contracted behavioral health or employment programs. An equivalent combination of directly related education and experience may be considered when it provides the knowledge and skills required to perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of employment services, vocational rehabilitation, behavioral health, workforce development, or related community-based programs. Knowledge of documentation, confidentiality, and recordkeeping requirements within a healthcare or human services environment. Knowledge of applicable program, contractual, billing, and reporting requirements. Ability to coordinate multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide professional and appropriate support to individuals participating in employment and behavioral health services. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, staff, leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across programs and departments. Ability to identify and address routine operational needs and appropriately elevate concerns. Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation and program records. Ability to organize, track, and compile information for program reporting and compliance purposes. Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and appropriate boundaries. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational requirements. Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn electronic health record and program-specific systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the WAT Director with day-to-day coordination of Employment Services and WAT program activities across multiple programs and service locations. Serves as a resource and point of contact for Employment Services staff and program participants regarding routine program needs, questions, and coordination. Coordinates operational needs and activities across WAT programs, including Cotton Blossom, Copper Café, Administrative Services, and Environmental Services. Provides direct employment-related services and support to patients enrolled in Employment Services in accordance with program requirements and established plans of care. Conducts and documents billable patient encounters in accordance with organizational, AHCCCS, and applicable program requirements. Completes timely and accurate documentation of services provided within the electronic health record and other required systems. Supports documentation review, tracking, and follow-up activities to promote billing accuracy and program compliance. Assists with tracking and compiling information required for DES/VR, RBHA, AHCCCS, and other applicable contractor or regulatory reporting. Coordinates with program staff to support timely completion of required documentation, reports, and program information. Supports consistent workflows, processes, and communication across Employment Services and WAT programs. Assists with coordination and implementation of new or expanded Employment Services initiatives and program activities. Identifies operational concerns, service needs, or barriers and communicates them to the WAT Director or appropriate leadership. Assists with scheduling, coordination, and communication related to participant services, program activities, meetings, and departmental initiatives. Collaborates with internal departments, community partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to support program operations and patient needs. Maintains accurate program records, tracking tools, reports, and other required documentation. Maintains confidentiality of patient, employee, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable regulations. Participates in departmental meetings, training, quality improvement activities, and program development initiatives. Supports special projects and other program-related activities as assigned by the WAT Director. Performs other duties as assigned.
