Job Title: CT Technologist No. of Positions/Candidates Required: 3 Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Place of Work (City/State): Phoenix, AZ Site: Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), Medical Imaging Department Location: 4212 North 16th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Duration: Long term contract Shift Schedule: Three anticipated shift windows, Sunday through Saturday:
- First Shift: 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
- Second Shift: 3:30 p.m. 12:00 a.m.
- Third Shift: 11:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
No on-call or call-back currently required. Actual coverage varies with patient workload.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
- Current BLS certification
- Operation of the Canon Aquilion Prime SP2000, 160-slice CT scanner with Bayer Medrad Flex Injector
- Independent performance of CT exams, including contrast administration
- Ability to perform plain-film/Digital Radiography exams when required
- Documentation in RPMS, EHR, and PACS
- Cultural sensitivity working with Native American, Spanish-speaking, and limited-English-proficiency patients
- Verify patient identity and exam requirements
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients for CT exams
- Independently perform CT exams, including operation of contrast-injection equipment
- Perform plain-film/Digital Radiography exams when within scope
- Apply patient-safety and radiation-safety practices
- Review images for technical quality
- Document services accurately and timely in Government systems
- Comply with PIMC infection-control, safety, privacy, and security requirements
