Location: Stanton, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM clinic hours
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000+ annually, plus productivity bonus

About the Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an established outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Stanton, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care and has recent experience with manual therapy .

Manual therapy is a significant part of the clinic's treatment approach. You will work directly with patients for the first 30 minutes of each visit, focusing on hands-on treatment and individualized care, before transitioning the patient to an aide to complete the remainder of the session.

Patients typically spend approximately one hour in the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Perform manual therapy techniques as appropriate to the patient's plan of care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Learn and utilize the clinic's EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures
• Collaborate with physical therapists, aides, and other members of the clinic team

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• PTA degree from an accredited program
• Recent, hands-on manual therapy experience strongly preferred
• Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team
• Comfortable learning new technology, EMR systems, and AI-assisted documentation tools
• New graduates may be considered; however, candidates should have meaningful and recent exposure to manual therapy

Schedule

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with operating hours ranging from approximately 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Typical schedules include:

• 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Schedules include an 8-hour workday and a 1-hour lunch. This is a salaried position with some flexibility when patient care requires staying slightly later.
