• Licensure/Certs: Active AK license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, BC in Surgery
• Experience: Prior general surgery experience; clean professional file

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $1.00/hr

What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient general surgery coverage on a 24-hour call basis
• Respond promptly to call-backs and urgent patient needs
• Support hospital teams in managing complex surgical cases
• Maintain documentation and adhere to facility protocols
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements
• Work within a team dedicated to quality patient care

What You Need:

• Active AK medical license with clean file (no restrictions or disciplinary actions)
• DEA registration for opioid prescribing
• Board certification in Surgery (BC required)
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
• Prior experience in general surgery for hospital inpatient care
• Ability to commit to call schedule and respond professionally in urgent situations

About the Assignment:
This assignment supports a leading healthcare facility in Kodiak, focusing on inpatient general surgery coverage. The provider will be on a 24-hour beeper call, responding to emergent surgical cases and supporting surgical teams. Due to the tight schedule, only providers with active, clean AK files and in-state licenses will be considered.
