Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents, pleadings, foreclosure documents, and correspondence.
• Review and proofread legal forms and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• File and serve court documents electronically (e-filing and e-service).
• Create, organize, and maintain case files and the firm's case management database.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, and client representatives.
• Coordinate collection efforts with attorneys and third-party service providers.
• Accurately enter client and case information into the firm's case management system.
• Record billable time daily in the firm's billing system.
• Assist with other administrative and legal support duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of office or legal office experience (paralegal or litigation experience preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing as a team member.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning legal case management software.
• Experience with litigation, foreclosure matters, and electronic court filing is a plus.
