Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgical

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Utilizes advanced technology including patient lifts, telemonitoring, and communication tools to enhance patient safety and care quality. Key Responsibilities Perform EKG interpretation and manage central lines. Assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Implement rescue therapies such as Bi-Pap, high-flow oxygen, and manage tracheostomies and vents. Collaborate with healthcare team members including PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT. Apply critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure. Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
