Automation Test Engineer

Automation Test Engineer
Our client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Automation Test Engineer for their Phoenix, AZ / Charlotte, NC / Hybrid location. Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build automation frameworks from scratch and define automation standards, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Perform API automation testing and validation to ensure service reliability and quality.
- Utilize Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber methodologies where applicable.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Continuously improve automation efficiency, test coverage, and execution performance.
- Mentor team members on automation best practices and framework development.
Requirements include:
- Strong knowledge of API Automation
- Strong knowledge of Playwright with Java/TS
- Strong knowledge on Selenium, BDD, Cucumber
