Farmers Insurance District 88 is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting, talent sourcing, candidate outreach, and onboarding efforts throughout Southeast Missouri.
We are looking for a recruiter who knows how to find great people, not just wait for applications. The ideal candidate has experience with recruiting, talent acquisition, LinkedIn recruiting, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking systems, interviewing, and onboarding.
This position offers significant interaction with district leadership, professional development, insurance industry experience, and opportunities for advancement based on performance and growth.
Responsibilities
• Recruit and source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, IdealTraits, job boards, referrals, networking, and social media
• Conduct proactive LinkedIn recruiting and candidate sourcing
• Review résumés and identify qualified prospective candidates
• Conduct initial phone screens and candidate interviews
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent candidate follow-up
• Manage the recruiting pipeline using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Maintain candidate records, recruiting stages, tags, notes, and communications
• Develop recruiting email, text, and candidate outreach campaigns
• Assist with job postings and recruiting advertisements
• Guide selected candidates through the onboarding and hiring process
• Track recruiting activity, interviews, placements, and onboarding progress
• Partner with leadership to improve recruiting strategies and hiring results
Requirements
• Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, or candidate sourcing
• Experience using LinkedIn for recruiting and talent sourcing
• Experience interviewing, screening, and communicating with candidates
• Experience with candidate onboarding and hiring processes
• Familiarity with ATS, CRM, recruiting software, job boards, or applicant management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
