Accounting Coordinator

James Outdoor Advertising is a fast-growing, independently owned billboard company operating across multiple markets. We help brands get noticed through high-impact digital and traditional out-of-home advertising — and we’re building the internal systems to scale the right way. We’re looking for an Accounting Coordinator who takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and keeping financial operations running clean and on time. This role is trusted with real responsibility and plays a direct role in cash flow, partner relationships, and payroll accuracy. What You’ll Own This is a hands-on accounting role with real ownership — not just data entry. Accounts Receivable Prepare and send customer invoices Post payments (ACH, check, credit card) Maintain weekly AR aging Execute consistent collections follow-upsCoordinate accounts for collections when needed Accounts Payable Process vendor, installer, utility, and contractor payments Track land lease payment schedules Ensure payments are accurate and on time Media Owner & Partner Payments Process payments to media owners, landowners, and inventory partners Track revenue splits and remittance schedules per contract Reconcile partner statements against internal billing Flag discrepancies or issues to management Calculate internal sales commissions based on approved plans Reconcile commissions against collected revenue Prepare monthly commission summaries for review Payroll Administration Prepare payroll inputs for employees and contractors Track hours, commissions, and payroll data Coordinate payroll processing with our payroll provider Maintain payroll records and documentation General Accounting Support Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online Support month-end close and reconciliations Keep financial documentation organized and audit-ready What We’re Looking For 5+ years experience in AP/AR, bookkeeping, or accounting support Strong experience with QuickBooks Online Comfortable with collections follow-ups and accountability Highly detail-oriented and process-driven Discreet, trustworthy, and reliable Experience with commissions, payroll, or multi-entity businesses is a plus Compensation & Growth Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience) Retirement Plan Paid Vacation Performance Bonus: tied to collections, accuracy, and on-time processing Clear growth path into senior accounting or Controller support as the company scales Why This Role Matters This role directly impacts: Employee trust Operational discipline If you take pride in getting things right, staying organized, and owning your responsibilities — you’ll thrive here. #J-18808-Ljbffr James Outdoor
