Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to provide coverage at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Position Details:

Job Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant Locum

Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Call Schedule: None
Call Ratio: None
Documentation System: EPIC EMR
Trauma Level: Not applicable
Supervision: APP will work autonomously without supervising physician onsite
Patient Age Demographic: Adult

Procedures:

Removal of lines, drains, sutures, and staples
Dressing changes

Requirements:

Active Virginia medical license (mandatory; submissions without license will not be accepted)
Current BLS certification
Provider must be local; only mileage reimbursement provided
Clean background highly preferred
Surgical PA experience preferred
