Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Testing Manager to lead quality assurance efforts across complex programs. This role will oversee testing strategy, execution, and coordination across business and technology teams in both Agile and waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing efforts across multiple projects and teams
• Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure quality delivery
• Manage scope, requirements, and quality processes throughout the SDLC
• Track test progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Technical Testing Manager experience (including matrix team leadership)
• 5+ years in test management, quality assurance, and requirements management
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and test management tools
• Hands-on experience with test automation and tracking tools (e.g., Test Complete)
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing practices
• Experience working in both Agile and waterfall environments
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to coordinate testing activities across large programs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
