Benefits: Bonus based on performance Training & development About the Role: Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a skilled and dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and preventive care Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patient visits Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) following proper safety protocols Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in dental practice management software Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene techniques Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed Greet patients and help create a welcoming, comfortable clinical environment Requirements: Current Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) required Valid NJ Dental Radiography certification or eligibility Prior chairside dental assisting experience preferred Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) Strong knowledge of infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment About Us: Rajal J Patel DDS PA is a trusted dental practice serving the Orange, NJ community with a commitment to high-quality, personalized patient care.
