Job Description Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Maintenance Coordinator! The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Branch is clean and in good working order, using expertise to provide a safe and well‑kept home for residents. Benefits Full‑time employees eligible for medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products. Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) eligible for voluntary life and short‑term disability. Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Prescription savings plans. All employees eligible for 401(k) with employer match. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states. CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Competent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Responsibilities Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting the quality of care provided to residents. Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks promptly. Address maintenance issues quickly, notifying the Director when outside services are required. Ensure all apartments are move‑in‑ready within 3 days after move‑out. Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned. Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms. Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure timely completion of items. Order supplies/chemicals as assigned. Identify emergencies and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure. Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely. Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled. Complete Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled. Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule. Store, label, and use chemicals securely, following directions and wearing appropriate PPE. Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch. Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies. Additional Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check.
