Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage at a hospital-based Cardiovascular Institute
• Practice setting is hospital-based, covering all hospital work including floor consults and incoming STEMIs
• Support staff includes APP coverage, though availability may vary depending on scheduling
• Typical daily caseload consists of approximately 4-5 procedures per day and 3-4 consults
• Patient population is primarily age 55 and older
• EMR system used is Cerner
• STEMI skills are required
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients are preferred
• Board certification is required
• Active AZ license required (IMLC only)
• DEA required
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications include ACLS and BLS

This facility is a community hospital with 99 beds, offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The cardiovascular department is a well-established program supported by a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
