As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue05:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access logs. Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures, escalating access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
