Harness Design Engineer - Level 6

Description: You will be the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 for the F-35 Program which is responsible for delivering advanced electrical harness solutions for the F-35 aircraft. What You Will Be Doing As the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 you will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical harness and interconnect designs that meet rigorous program requirements. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Integrate all aspects of electrical systems, including design, coordination, project management, and supplier management. Provide direct liaison engineering and MRB support to Production and Supply Chain. Review and disposition PR and ESPaR requests. Support sustainment AR requests. Lead technical discussions in program‑level meetings to meet requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 12 years or more experience with Wire Harness Design and/or Wire Harness Design Leadership Experience with integrating with Aircraft Wire Harness Suppliers Desired Skills Experience interacting with customers and senior management Experience with performing technical design checks/reviews Familiarity with LM Aero tools and databases; these include but are not limited to PDM, JEDI, Capital Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
