What You Will Be Doing Collaborate with co‑producers and suppliers to address production needs, relay lessons learned, and support major build and test events on‑site at supplier and co‑producer facilities. Conduct critical design reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes. Develop assembly plans and innovative solutions to address daily challenges, ensuring efficient production flow. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing products and documentation. Provide direct support on the production floor, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions. Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to develop manufacturing processes. Interpret drawings and model‑based designs, translating them into actionable steps for manufacturability in the production environment. Collaborate with team members to explore out‑of‑the‑box thinking and contribute to product improvement initiatives. Location This position is located in Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required to apply. Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross‑functionally with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, quality assurance and/or production operations. Experience supporting vehicle systems installations and integration into a final product and/or rigging experience for movable surfaces, including electrical harness, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, related systems, landing gear, and door rigging. Active secret security clearance, with investigation in the last 5 years. Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start date with LM. Ability to travel 25–75% of the time, or based on business needs. Desired Skills STEM degree preferred. Experience in a liaison role supporting production activities and rapidly resolving constraints to minimize production impact. Experience in test engineering, including authoring test procedures and supporting production execution of said tests. Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery. Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plans. Demonstrated understanding of model‑based engineering principles, Lockheed Martin process specifications, and manufacturing planning. Self‑starter with ability to operate with limited direction. Previous experience with engineering releases and configuration change control. Proficient in 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, NX) and PLM programs (3DX, Teamcenter, PDM) and MES programs (iBASEt, SAP). Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. Employment Details Work Schedules: 4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week. Shift: First. Type: Full‑Time. Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position is $99,700–$175,835 (excluding major metropolitan areas), with adjustments based on location.
