Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.50
Location: Clackamas, OR

Express Employment Professionals in Oregon City is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a growing team! Work for a reputable local Rubber Roller and Rubber Molder manufacturing company. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.50
Location: Clackamas, OR
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining processes
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications
- Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and precision standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Accurately read measuring instruments down to .0001
- Operate lathes, knee mills, band saws, and various hand tools
- Set up and run jobs assigned by supervisor
- Read and interpret drawings and prints
- Take instructions on or assist in repairs and maintenance around the plant
- Previous experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role is required
- Experience with manual milling machines and lathes
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manual machining operations
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality
- Knowledge of warehouse operations for inventory management
- Ability to perform welding tasks when requested
