IT Trial Support Specialist / IT Field Technician

Location: Century City, CA
Schedule: Full-time onsite when not traveling
Assignment Type: Contract
Estimated Duration: Approximately 12 months, with potential to extend based on business needs
Pay: $35-$55/hr W2
Overtime: Significant overtime available, especially during trials
Travel: Nationwide travel required, including occasional short-notice travel

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious law firm in Century City to hire an IT Trial Support Specialist / IT Field Technician for a contract opportunity.

This role is ideal for a hands-on IT support professional who enjoys high-touch, white-glove technical support in a fast-paced professional services environment. The position will support attorneys and staff in the Century City office and provide onsite technology support for trial teams at courthouses and trial sites throughout the U.S.

The ideal candidate is a flexible, service-oriented team player who is comfortable supporting demanding users, troubleshooting under pressure, and doing whatever it takes to help the team succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide white-glove IT support to attorneys, executives, and staff in a law firm environment
• Troubleshoot escalated desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Support Windows desktop administration, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, mobile devices, peripherals, and networking in a Windows-based environment
• Travel nationwide to support trial teams at courthouses and trial sites
• Set up, configure, and support technology at trial sites, including laptops, printers, mobile devices, networking, and related equipment
• Provide hands-on technical support during active trials and high-stakes litigation matters
• Assist with office moves, hardware deployments, equipment installation, and IT project support
• Support conference room and AV technology as needed
• Document work accurately and communicate updates clearly to IT leadership and end users
• Partner closely with internal IT team members to resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Maintain a flexible, all-hands-on-deck approach to support changing business and trial needs

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of desktop support, help desk, field support, or IT support experience preferred
• Strong Windows desktop support experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Hardware, peripheral, printer, and mobile device troubleshooting experience
• Networking skills in a Windows-based environment
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Comfortable providing white-glove support to attorneys, executives, and professional staff
• Open to nationwide travel, including occasional short-notice travel
• Comfortable being away from home several weeks per year based on trial schedules
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Century City when not traveling
• Professional, friendly, adaptable, and highly collaborative communication style
• No degree or certification required, equivalent experience accepted

Preferred Qualifications:

• Law firm or professional services experience
• Trial support experience
• iManage or document management system experience
• Intune experience
• Conference room, Zoom, and AV support experience
• Experience supporting high-profile or executive-level users
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Travel Details:

This role requires nationwide travel to support trial teams. Travel may occasionally be short notice and can sometimes occur around holidays or extend based on trial schedules. Travel expenses are covered, including flights, hotel, meals, and per diem as applicable.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $35-$55/hr W2, based on experience
• Significant overtime opportunities, especially during trials
